Thousands reported dead after Burma cyclone
At least 10,000 people are dead and another 3,000 are missing after Cyclone Nargis hit the country of Myanmar. Nargis made landfall on May 2. The United Nations says that it is rushing aid after the "alarming" report.

Pipe bomb explodes outside California courthouse
No one was injured when one or more pipe bombs exploded outside the Edward J. Schwartz Federal Courthouse in San Diego, California around 1:40 a.m. Sunday morning. Debris hit a building across the street eight stories above the lobby of the courthouse.
