Tigers win NRL Grand Final

The Wests Tigers have defeated the North Queensland Cowboys 30-16 in the National Rugby League Grand Final in Sydney. The final score was 30-16. The Tigers scored five tries, and North Queensland scored three.

It was the Cowboys first grand final after 10 years in the competition. It was the Tigers first grand final win since they were formed by the merger of Balmain and Western Suburbs.
