President of Brazil meets Vietnamese President

Brazilian senator talks to Vietnam President Mr Tran Duc Luong .

November 17, 2004, Brasilia, Brazil - According to Brazilian official sources Mr. Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, the Brazilian President will meet with the President of Vietnam Mr. Tran Duc Luong today at 11:30 AM at the Palacio do Planalto , the Presidential official residence, in Brasilia, Brasil. At 13:00 there will be a lunch with the Brazilian and Vietnamese Presidents and comitive.

According to Brazilian official sources the Brazilian and Vietnamese Presidents will talk about economic cooperation beetween the two countries, mainly the production of ethanol. United Nations reform and the effort by Vietnam to join the World Trade Organization will be discussed as well.
